Fluoride
There are 6 major government reports which have reviewed fluoridation. The issue of fluoridation is not a new one but one thing is self-evident: water fluoridation is not 100% safe as we're always told.
The most famous report is probably the Natick Report (Natick is a suburb of Boston, MA, USA). The report was done in response to whether they should fluoridate their water supply. With so many conflicting claims, both positive and negative, in 1997 they decided to do an impartial analysis. The following is a summary of their findings.

Recent studies show little or no difference in child cavities with or without flouride in the water.
Water fluoridation may increase incidence of dental fluorosis 5 to 25 percent.
Fluoride adversely effets the nervous system, causing behavioral changes and cognitive deficits.
Fluoride may affect a developing fetus at doses that are safe for the mother, manifesting in lower IQ and behavioral changes.
Recent studies show a connection between fluoridation levels and annually decreasing fertility rates.
Animal biostudies suggest that fluoride is a carcinongen, especially in bone and liver tissue.
Fluoride inhibits or alters the actions of enzymes important to metabolism, growth and cell function.
Sodium fluorosillicate and fluorosilllcic acid (used to fluoridate water) have been connected with high blood lead levels in children.
Even if water is fluoridated at government-recommended levels, children will end up getting more than the daily-recommended amount.
